It seems that wherever you go on the internet, there are pop-up adverts spoiling your fun. CleanMYPC Popup Blocker is a tiny utility that can stop most of these windows from appearing.
Once installed Popup Blocker shows itself as a couple of extra icons in the toolbar of Internet Explorer. One takes you to the CleanMYPC website and the other can be used to turn blocking on or off. This is useful if you want to view pop-ups on certain sites but not those displayed on others. This button also shows how many pop-ups have been blocked. With such a small download this free utility is well worth trying.
