Battery Pack is a suite of tools that adds extra features to your Pocket PC device's Today screen, including Battery Bar, Program Bar, Power Clean and Power Adjust.
The Battery Bar provides details about your available available memory (internal and external) and battery power, and displays a small analogue clock on-screen. Battery power is displayed as both a percentage and an estimate of the time remaining.
The Program Bar displays shortcuts to installed programs, control panels etc., each of which can be manually selected. The bar can be anything up to 10 rows deep, displaying a maximum of 120 icons
Power Clean offers a one-click method of clearing your temporary files, temporary internet files and cookies, and can be set to run every hour.
Power Adjust lets you change various elements such as the system font, whether or not to use ClearType, and window animation.
It will even speak to you, if you like that sort of thing, warning you of such things as a low battery.
The icons can be a little small, and it will take you a while to work out which icon corresponds to which function but, once mastered, Battery Pack can be a real timesaver.
