Bejeweled is the Palm version of the online game Diamond Mine, available at popcap.com. The aim is to swap any two adjacent gems to create rows of three or more of the same type.

Form a row and they disappear, with the gems above dropping to fill up the space and more gems falling into the game from the top of the screen. The idea is to keep going until there are no more moves to make, and notch up a whopping great score.

There are two different games to choose from: easy and timed. The easy game simply involves swapping gems until you can no longer make a move. Reach various score lines, and a bonus is awarded, and random pieces are removed from the game.

The timed game involves racing against the clock, with each row of three or more giving you a little more time. The trick is to create rows faster than your time is eaten away.

Whichever game you choose you are sure to play again and again.
