If you're one of those people with hundreds of CDs littered around your desk/floor, without a clue as to their contents, this application could be what you're looking for.
Advanced Disk Catalog will save the directory structure and file details of any CD, hard drive, disk or zip, letting you search across your entire media collection in one go. No need to rifle through every disc in your collection!
Once a CD is inserted, the program scans it and saves the data for later use.
It can be a tiring experience having to initially scan through your existing CDs, but once finished you'll never have to do it again. Just add CDs as and when you get them.
The features list is extensive, while the program's ease-of-use is commendable. A range of search functions enable you to find the exact file you're looking for, and assuming you have labelled your media, the program will tell you what disc the file is located on.
Certainly the pick of the CD cataloguing bunch, Advanced Disk Catalog will give any CD-Burner a whole new world of organisation.
