PeerAware
Quickly enable users to share files and documents

This is the software publisher's description.

Designed for secure and intuitive document sharing. Files are shared directly from your computer, making up-to-date versions of your documents easily accessible. PeerAware also lets you create a shared workspace for connecting with friends and co-workers. Create your own knowledge network, share documents, group chat and draw on a virtual whiteboard.

Instantly find and download documents shared by peers across connected workspaces. Documents, spreadsheets and presentations are indexed by content and shared from your computer.

All communication in PeerAware is initiated from the group chat area of a workspace. You can discuss anything with hundreds of people at once. If the group chat area becomes too crowded it is easy to initiate a one-on-one conversation where you can continue the discussion in private.

Share articles, addresses and links by pasting them into the chat area. Emoticons can help you express yourself when text messages are insufficient. If you need to visualize anything, a shared whiteboard makes that easy.
