It’s easy to work within a team of people who operate from the different areas of your company. Some might be on the road, located in another building or, as with modern life, do not communicate by phone or in person and are easy to manage by email. Either way, you need the tools to be able to assign these people tasks, track their work and be able to allocate someone to a complaint or a supplier, immediately.
Doing this by regular email is too difficult. You can’t track your email correspondence in-between all the regular emails from customers, suppliers and other organisations. You really need a dedicated team management tool and there aren’t that many around, designed for the SME market.
Colabolo is a new tool that’s currently being previewed and will enable you to add issues that need resolving, assign them to specific users, add files and documents that need to be read by assignees, discuss topics with assignees in real-time, as well as working with the same application across multiple platforms (including the iPhone).
Best of all, the pricing represents good value, so you can add users at a cost of around $9.95/month, making it accessible for small teams and organisations. Colabolo is currently free during preview. It’s based on Adobe Air, so will work on any operating system that’s supported by Air.
