This is a painting program with the emphasis on fun, intended to get children interested in painting rather than creating a masterpiece.
The canvas takes up most of the screen, but there is also a desk and shelving unit, each of which contain numerous tools with which to create paintings.
Among these items are pots of paint and a palette for selecting colours, various brushes and pens, a spray can, several books of stamps, fun designs (stars, 3D objects etc.), and much more.
The mouse is used for both tool selection and painting, as with normal illustration programs such as Paintshop pro. When highlighting a paint tool with the mouse a short description and its use are displayed on-screen.
The program needs to be registered in order to save paintings, but they can be printed out in this shareware download. When paintings have been saved they can be viewed in a gallery, complete with gallery feel - rope cordons, picture frames and spotlights.
Purchase price: $25
