If your Palm is used for business or has a lot of private data stored on it, then protection should be of the utmost importance. PDADefense provides both powerful encryption and password protection for all your stored data.

Password protection is the first line of defence, with a password required to access the device and, optionally, for access to certain apps.

The Standard version uses 64-bit Blowfish encryption and the Professional version up to 512-bit Blowfish encryption, ensuring data is heavily protected.

PDADefense replaces the default Palm security, so wherever this is active, such as on masked or hidden data, PDADefense takes control.

Decryption is on-demand, thereby maximising performance: databases are decrypted only when needed rather than all together.

Perform a soft reset on a Palm and PDADefense still protects, while during lockouts, all data transfer functions (beaming & hotsync) are barred.

A nice 'bomb' feature erases all RAM databases if password entry is unsuccessful - don't worry, you have 10 attempts. Data can of course be recovered using the backup on your PC.

Note: This demo displays your password on the system lockout screen.
