This version fixes some security flaws of previous versions

If you've got a standard Pop3 or Imap4 email account, chances are you're using either Outlook Express or full Outlook to access your messages.

Eudora is an email program that fits somewhere in between, but one that also offers some features you won't find in either of the Microsoft products.

This latest version supports SSL encryption and authentication, virus warnings on attachments (which can also be dragged straight onto the desktop), and a Moodwatch facility which can flag potentially offensive words or phrases.

There are three versions of Eudora: paid, sponsored and light. They are all accessible from this one download - simply choose your option once installed.

The sponsored version is free and fully functional but ad-supported, the light version is free but lacking some features, and the paid version is fully functional with no ads, but costs $39.95.
