This audio player supports all major audio formats, including mpeg audio (MP1, MP2 and MP3), WMA, WAV, m3u (playlists), AVI, Midi, and CD audio. It also supports Mpeg, AVI and Real video formats.

The default skin is pretty impressive, although should you think otherwise more are available free from the UltraPlayer website. Each skin has two modes (full and mini), with full mode featuring a screen for viewing visuals/video, while mini mode lets you access the standard audio controls.

Standard controls include play, volume, balance, shuffle, repeat and mute. UltraPlayer can also play and create playlists, and displays time remaining for both current track and entire playlist.

ID3 Tags can be edited/added to MP3 files, and there is a graphic equaliser to ensure the music sounds how you like it.

Digital Signal Processor (DSP) plug-ins can be installed, for more control over the music. These plug-ins include surround sound emulators, echo effects, reverb units and phase shifters, among others.
