It's difficult to know where to begin with XPTuneup. This really is a very powerful program that gives you access to, and the ability to customise, more or less every aspect of the Windows XP system.

Upon launch, the program resembles a control panel with a tabbed bar that separates XPTuneup's functions into 10 distinct groups. These include:

  • The Main tab, which gives you a complete visual breakdown of your computer, including Ram installed and system version.
  • The Network tab, which allows you to do such things as boost your internet and network speed.
  • The Power tab, which enables you to change the power usage of your PC.
  • The System tab, which offers a wide range of system modifications, mainly for experienced Windows users.

Add to this the ability to alter systems fonts, synchronise your clock with an atomic server, perform specific multiple undos, clean up the Windows Registry, and customise your auto login, and you have a system utility to satisfy even the most adventurous Windows user.

Its range of features is truly breathtaking, and probably far more than the average user will ever need.
