This is a software publisher's description.

RasterVect can transform any raster image into a vector format. Raster drawings (BMP, TIFF, JPEG, PCX) can be imported by scanning original paper drawings from any scanner with Twain or WIA support.

The target vector formats (DXF, WMF, EMF, EPS, and AI) are supported by most CAD applications that use vector graphics, such as AutoCAD and CorelDraw.

Viewing tools include zooming, scrolling, and colour selection. The program has four conversion methods (including outline and centreline), keeps the scale of an initial drawing, can correct a turn angle of an initial raster drawing, has various raster filters (despeckle, smoothing, median, hole removing), and has vector- and raster-editing capabilities.
