NetMailshar provides every office PC with the ability to send and receive email across the internet or local area network (Lan) with just one internet connection. It works with any type of connection, whether dial-up, ISDN, ADSL, cable modem or satellite connection.
NetMailshar also operates across a Lan with no internet connection, providing each individual with a separate email account for internal communications.
Fully featured virus protection and content filtering is incorporated into the program, effectively protecting you against all viruses and allowing spam to be rejected.
The interface is rather basic, but is very easy to use, requiring little intervention from the user once it's set up. Email monitoring is also possible to ensure that a sensible email policy is being adhered to among your employees.
All the usual features are present: email forwarding, auto-dial and disconnection, multiple domain and POP3 support and auto-responding.
This Pro version adds browser-based administration, SMTP authentication and email archiving facilities to its feature set.
