If you’re planning a large project, you may be surprised by the number of factors that you need to include within this planning. If you brainstorm ideas, you’re often left with piles of notes that need sorting in to a logical manner. If not, trying to follow your train of thought isn’t going to be easy.
One solution is to turn to mind mapping, which will enable you to start with a core project or idea and then work up other thoughts related to the original idea. For example, if your project includes multiple people, one of mapped thoughts could include how you are going to bring in a design team to produce the content and what’s required to make it happen. Other thoughts can take a different route, such as how would your idea affect other areas in your business.
Free Mind Map is a simple version of the commercial mind mapping tool that will enable you to track your thoughts, ideas and relationships.
Note that the majority of the features are included in the commercial version, which is a paid-for product. The free version is based on the old v1, but is enough to get you started and plan a single project or idea.
