Do you need a tool that's ultimately going to manage your complete digital media collection, from your digital photos through to your video collection? If so, Microsoft Express Media may be the solution. This is the new version of the old iView media manager that was available for both the Windows and Mac platform. A Mac version is still available to download.
Expression Media is best described as a digital asset management and cataloguing solution for photographers, amateur and professional, and other creative professionals.
It enables you to create a customised, centralised and searchable database through which you can manage a wide variety and high volume of digital files.
Supports more than 100 different file formats including images, audio, video, fonts, illustrations, DTP, HTML and digital camera RAW files (including DNG, Nikon, Canon and Kodak). This enables you to manage your digital photos directly from your camera.
Pro photographers and other creative professionals using Expression Media can quickly and easily import, annotate, organise, archive, search and distribute their digital files, shortening time from capture to distribution, thereby saving time and lowering costs.
Note that this is the final release version of Expression Media 2. A Mac version is also available from the Microsoft Expression Media website.
