Security definition updates are produced on a reactive basis where security developers see a threat and respond by issuing an update to protect against the threat. The hope is that the vast majority are yet to encounter the threat, so never actually experience an issue with their security software. Works for most, but not all.
For this reason, security developers have been busy developing new software that works pro-actively to prevent intrusion or attack before the threat is even realised. This works by evaluating the type of activity that malicious software usually performs when infecting your computer, then warning you when this activity is about to take place. You can then choose to stop or allow, if it’s a legitimate action.
System Protect is a new tool from the developers of Spyware Terminator that enables you to safeguard areas of your PC. You could protect folders and important files, so that they simply cannot be deleted, overwritten or mangled. This security tool works alongside your existing software and is not a replacement for your regular anti-spyware or anti-virus application.

Do you agree?
System Protects protects nothing
You can manually delete windows system files and System Protect does not do anything. What does it protect anyway? I just don't get it.
