Steganos LockNote

LockNote is a secure notepad from Steganos that uses open source CryptoPP AES 256-bit encryption technology to ensure that your stored data remains safe from prying eyes.

It is a standalone application, meaning that there is no installation required. Simply save the executable to your hard drive and double-click to run. As a result, it will quite happily run from a USB flash drive.

Rather strangely, you can only save one note per executable. In other words, you'll need to copy the executable to different locations to save more than one note.

Presumably the ability to save multiple notes via the same executable will be added as the software develops. A master password is required to save and open encrypted documents.
