When a program refuses to cooperate, sometimes your only option might be to use the Task Manager to close the unresponsive application. However, you might find that your keyboard has ceased up or that you can’t access the Task Manager.

Daphne is a replacement for the Task Manager that resides in your System Tray. It will enable you to do more than the usual tasks of simply viewing a process and killing, where required. You can kill a process by dragging the mouse over the windows, by right-clicking the process in the main process list, or by typing its name with the "Kill all by name" command. You can set a any window to be always on top, to be transparent, to be enable, etcetera.

The main display window details more information about each running application and the processes on your system. You don’t even need to open the display window to close a process. Simply right-click on the Daphne icon within your System Tray to kill a current process.
