The hard drive is one of the most crucial parts of a computer.

If it fails and you do not have a back-up you can assume your data is lost. All modern hard drives can monitor themselves to check for problems and HDD Health can show this information in Windows.

By checking these conditions over a period of time, HDD Health can detect problems before they happen and give an indication of how long they will take to lead to something more troublesome.

The interface has more detail than most people will want, but as it is freeware it is worth downloading as insurance.
