Print directly to PDF using the free doPDF 6

Dopdf Mac OS X has always had the function to print directly to a PDF. This has many advantages. You can upload a PDF to your homepage and offer it to other users, safe in the knowledge that it will be readable across most operating systems. You can use a PDF document for your commercial printing, as long as it is prepared in the correct format. A PDF document will also retain the formatting and fonts, even if the other user does not have these fonts installed on their system.

doPDF 6 is a free tool that you can use to produce PDF documents from any Windows application, by directly printing to the supplied PDF printer. This version has had a major update (in terms of revision number) but it's hard to see what new features have been included. Still, it's free and does the job and is our recommended tool for creating your PDF documents on a Windows machine.
