Hard drive capacity is always increasing, from internal drives to portable storage devices. No matter how large drives get, many of us still mange to utilise all that free space. Rather than backing up information and storing on CDs and DVDs we now store more information on our hard drives or external devices than was previously possible, especially when it comes to audio and video files. It's obviously convenient to have all your files and folders in a single place but searching for a particular document may be difficult, especially across multiple storage devices.
Copernic Desktop Search 3.1 is an application designed so that users can compile a database of files and folders stored across multiple drives. It's constantly running in the background updating your database and ensuring document searches are performed as quickly as possible. Unfortunately the application does feature and advertisement asking if you wish to upgrade, which you may need to do to perform network drive searches.
