Block in-line adverts with this Firefox addon

  • Tweet this
adblock-grab.gifWhen browsing the web you'll be presented with adverts almost constantly, not only are they annoying but they increase the loading time of most web pages as the source of the ad is often located away from the page or site. It's virtually impossible to avoid these adverts but you may be able to block at least some of them by using an ad-blocking utility. This may even speed up and enhance your browsing experience.

Adblock Plus 1.0.2 is a useful addon designed to work with Firefox that enables you to prevent annoying adverts from loading. Once the application has been installed, right click a particular advert and it will not be loaded again. You can also use the filter subscription to automatically prevent unwanted ads. This utility will only prevent in-line ads from loading, but not pop-ups.
