Transfer files across the net with FileZilla

filezilla-grab.gifFTP clients have become less relevant since the development of modern web browsers, this is mostly because the latest broadband packages provides more reliability and greater connection speeds. Most people who now use the Internet have probably not used an FTP client before, or probably because they don't really need to, but in some instances they can come in useful, especially if you regularly download files.  They are also an efficient way of quickly uploading data.

FileZilla 3.2.4.1 is a popular, modern freeware FTP client that enables you to transfer files to and from the Internet quickly and easily. By using the client alongside a good broadband connection, it's possible to administer a remote site or take advantage of any free homepage space you may have to upload files more efficiently.
