Manage open applications within a tabbed system using WindowTabs

  • Tweet this
junky-windowtabs.gifWe're all seeking new ways to manage and switch between our open applications. The Windows TaskBar enables us to inconify our open applications, but if there are many open windows, it can take a few vital seconds to find the correct application. There must be a better way. One possible idea is to turn your open applications in to a tabbed based system. For example, if you tend to open two or more editions of Microsoft Oulook (perhaps one for email, another for your calendar), you could use tabs to switch between windows, within the same application.

WindowTabs v239
is a new application that enables you open tabs (much as like Google Chrome's tabbed system) at the top of any application, selected applications or all applications excluding apps where you don't need a tab (for example, some apps don't seem to like tabs at all). You could group together similar apps, multiple windows from the same app and more.
