V3 downloads roundup: Firefox 7.0.1, Thunderbird 7.0.1, Norton Mobile Utilities for Android and CCleaner 3.11

A Firefox logoFirefox 7 is here (actually, now at 7.0.1, due to a major bug with the addons manager, which is now fixed). The brand new v7 brings a number of improvements to memory management, a smaller memory footprint, awesome bar changes and more under-the-hood tweaks. Download Firefox 7 for Windows and for your Mac. Mobile users can install the latest Firefox 7.0 for Android.

Thunderbird 7 is the major upgrade of Mozilla's own email client. New features are few, but include support for the Mozilla Gecko 7 engine, the ability to print a selection of emails and numerous fixes, including improved security over v6. 

Seamonkey 2.4.1 is the latest version of the all-in-one internet suite aimed at fans of Firefox and Thunderbird. The latest v2.4.1 is built on the same Mozilla platform as the newest Firefox release and ships with the latest developments in web technologies such as HTML5, hardware acceleration and improved JavaScript speed.

Copernic Desktop Search 3.5 enables users to quickly locate files, email and documents across your computer and other drives. In v3.5 the interface has received a small makeover and a number of fixes and other improvements.

If you're seeking a powerful cross-platform, cross-browser password manger, take a look at AI RoboForm 7.5.2. Use the application to automatically log you into online accounts and completes online registration and checkout forms with a single click. There's also a separate portable version, RoboFormToGo 7.5.2 which will enable you access your passwords from any computer, when you're away from the office. RoboForm for Mac 0.9.49 will enable you to access the same passwords on your Apple computer.

Ashampoo Snap enables you to easily take a grab of anything displayed on your monitor, including video. The latest v5 ships with a host of new tools, the facility to watermark grabs and much more. 

For Android users Norton Mobile Utilities (Beta) 1.0.2.71 for Android includes a number of handy management tools to help with memory management and app uninstallation, as well as the privacy enhancing cache and more. Another handy app from Norton is Norton Mobile Security LITE 2.2.0.307 for Android which enables you to detect and remove any threats to your Android device. Classic Notes Lite + App Box 1.0.54 for Android is a brilliantly feature-packed tool does the job of several you may have already installed. It may appear to be a simple note-taking app, but there is much more to it than that. Notes can be used for recording thoughts and ideas, but they can also be used as shopping lists, to do lists and more.

Lastly, CCleaner 3.11 received a major update this week, including support for Windows 8. There's also a separate CCleaner Portable 3.11 and an early beta version of CCleaner for Mac, with limited features.
