If you have already personalised your laptop and smartphone, the next way to stand out is to buy some stylish headphones.

Altec Lansing has announced a new line of Bliss headphones in three different styles, including Platinum, Gold and Silver, each of which are accessorised with jewel accents. The headphones also come in nine different colours.

Tech Boutique particularly likes the Platinum Lifestyle model, which as shown on the web site, has a silver braided cord as well as electric blue ear pieces.

Designed specifically for women, each of the models has ear pieces that have smaller housings to fit petite ears.

"The majority of earphones currently on the market for women are just painted versions of male earphones; they are too large and uncomfortable for the female ear," said Raleigh Wilson, Altec Lansing vice president of sales and marketing.

"Altec Lansing's new Bliss series earphones are specifically designed to be small while providing our renowned sound quality."

All the headphones are available now at £29.99 for the Silver and Gold editions, and £39.99 for the Platinum.
