It's been a quiet week for important new downloads, but there are plenty of updates to existing applications.
DropBox for Windows and for Mac is now at 1.0.28 and, if you've never used this file sharing software, we suggest you give it a try. Simply setup a folder (your drop box) on your system, whether it's a PC or Mac, drop the files you want to keep synchronised and they are instantly updated across your computers, as soon as write a new file to the folder. You can also access your DropBox account from a mobile phone, when you're on the road.
VMWare Workstation 7.14 is a powerful virtual operating system manager that enables you to create a virtual operating system, ideal for testing new software or running an application on an alternative OS. You could be using Windows 7 and hosting both Windows XP or Ubuntu, virtually. If you want to create a virtual operating system you can pass on to another user, give them VMWare Player 7.14 and they'll be able to view and use your virtual OS.
There are few free partitioning tools, but EASEUS Partition Manager Home v8 is one of the best and, for home and personal-use only, it's completely free. Always a worthwhile tool for your arsenal of important applications, you can use this to create, delete, merge or copy a system partition.
