Steve Jobs may have stepped down but he's still holding business meetings and teleconferences from his home according to the Wall Street Journal.
According to two people familiar with the situation Jobs has been keeping a close eye on the development of both the iPad 2 and next-generation iPhone which will be released this year.
"Steve is the CEO of Apple and during his medical leave he'll continue to be involved in major strategic decisions," said an Apple spokeswoman.
Jobs has reportedly been sighted at Apple headquarters a couple of times since his departure. During his last medical break from Apple he was known for popping into Apple headquarters from time to time.
The news came at a good time for Apple. The company saw $10bn wiped off its share value at lunchtime, apparently over rumours spread on Yahoo message boards that Jobs had returned to hospital with serious health problems.
