<p>So basically there's a host-based intrusion detection system running on another partition. Has Microsoft Security got so bad, that another operating system is required to secure the "primary" operating system?</p> <p>Furthermore, what's funny is how the user was using a "slighly older" web browser, but had up to date IDS signtures. If you have to keep something up to date, why not just patch your system? It's a lot cheaper.</p>
