Major anti-spyware release: Spybot Search & Destroy 1.5

Screengrab_3 Despite all the recent additions to the anti-spyware market, there are a couple of free anti-spyware tools that have been available for ages, have a tried-and-tested following and are two of vnunet.com's most popular downloads. One of these is Ad-Aware 2007 Free Edition, updated recently. The other is Spybot Search & Destroy 1.5, which has been in public beta-testing for the last few weeks and has been officially released.

Spybot Search & Destroy 1.5 is a free anti-spyware tool that's now Vista compatible. It ships with a brand new user interface and many other enhancements. If you're seeking a low-resource tool that will fight the latest spyware, look no further.
