Screengrab2 Programmers tend to work long in to the night attempting to squash bugs rather than leaving the code until the morning. What happens if, when you’re debugging your code, you forget to save the changes you’ve made? You then need to go back and analyse changes made since your previous debugging session. A more simple solution would be to use a merging tool; this will enable work to be compared side-by-side.

WinMerge 2.7.5.6
is a comparison and merging tool, enabling documents to be loaded simultaneously so they can be directly compared. Applicable in other areas, this solution can be used to compare various text documents, especially for those comparing documents that have since been updated by other people.
