Office workers who want to share their tasks, meetings and event schedule with other workers, generally use Microsoft Outlook, in combination with an Exchange server. The problem is that if you want to merge calendars and share information with users outside your network, you may need to resort to an online calendar service such as Google Calendar.
Busy2Sync v2 Preview is a public beta of the forthcoming Mac OS X technology that will enable you to merge and synchronise your iCal-based calendar with your Google Calendar. You could then use another tool to merge your Google Calendar with Outlook, and vice-versa. With Busy2Sync v2, you can also share your iCal calendar with other Mac users on your network.
