Disc burning software used to be so simple. There was a time when you could buy commercial burning software and the emphasis was based around getting content to your discs, quickly. These days, most disc burning developers are more interested in adding various media editing tools to their suite, such as photo managers, video editors and even music sequencers. What we need is a simple and well-designed disc burning suite that enables you to get your data, audio and others to disc, with the minimum of fuss.
Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.6 is one of the more popular disc burning suites and is now available free of charge. It supports most of the regular burning functions, but also more advanced tools such as the facility to burn to Blu-ray, if you can afford a Blu-ray burner. It's certainly recommended and, as it's a free commercial application, worth downloading.
