junky-evernote.gifFile synchronisation is the way forward. Apple saw this and decided to upgrade their old Mac toolkit to support file synchronisation with the new MobileMe. Unfortunately the plan has gone to pot and the file synchronisation part has been temporarily excluded.

Evernote 3 has finally reached open beta, so anyone can now sign up for an account and get started. It's superb media and note sharing software. You can cut and paste information from a website, email and other sources, then paste as a new note. These notes are synchronised with your online account and, if you have installed Evernote on another computer, you can sync the same notes back to the other PC.

In the future, it would be great to enable other users to share your information. For instance, if you wanted to share blog notes, interesting data and other points of interest, you could create an area in your account which was open for other users. This would be ideal for a development team who wanted to share ideas and notes regarding a current or future project.
