junky-appzapper.gifFor new Mac users, moving across from the Windows platform, one common question is how do you remove installed software? When you first install a Mac app, the installer is also supplied with an uninstaller. You can use this option or, for the most basic apps, it's as simple as dragging the Mac app icon to your Trash. However, larger installed applications place files in different locations, so you can't remove these apps without a dedicated tool.

AppZapper 1.8 is a simple but effective Mac uninstall tool that is as simple as you dragging the Mac application icon to an AppZapper icon and letting AppZapper uninstall the app. It will locate all the other files associated with the tool on your system and even remove unncessary system files.
