Getting your PC to perform as you'd like it to can take a lot of tweaking, and often involves a lot of trial and error. Firstly, you need to identify the areas your machine would benefit from being optimised, then which tools would be most suitable. The trouble is, if there are a more than a couple of areas that would benefit, getting the right setup could be difficult.
