Not too long ago, a good FTP client would have been a useful weapon in the arsenal of most Internet users. With the development of modern web browsers FTP clients have become less relevant, and also because broadband has given us greater connection speeds. The average Internet user has probably never used an FTP client, or has no reason to, but if you regularly download, and especially if you upload files to the Internet, an FTP client may be a convenient way of quickly uploading data.
