Back in the 90s there was this cool method of chatting with other users, irrespective of their location. It was called IRC. Indeed, the technology has not disappeared, but the amount of press coverage it receives is minimal. However, the idea lives on. IRC enabled developers from multiple locations to enter a (closed) chat room and have a real-time discussion about a subject. As IRC enabled you to send a file directly to another user (or group of users) it made chatting and working with code, ideal.Latest stories from Business Software
