View, edit and update live web pages using Firebug for Firefox

You might be part of a web development team that's close to launching a brand new website. If you're on the road, with your laptop, then you might have limited access to your regular web design tools. If you have remote access to your company server, there's no reason why you can't login and access or view the web pages, from your laptop, before they go live. You will want to do more than just view the pages though - you might want to test and view the CSS applied to the page or test the load times for the page and components that make up the page.

Firebug for Firefox 1.3.2 is an extension for Firefox that enables you to view the web code, CSS and other components that make up your web pages. Better still, you can edit the code within these pages and preview the pages live, before you commit the changes. The extension also enables you to test the load capacity of your site and pages to see how it will perform on a slow broadband connection.
