The other day someone mentioned to me that they didn't know what to do with the '.air' file they'd downloaded from the Internet. They were fairly clued up, too. Thinking it must be an archive format, they spent time trying find an archive management tool to open the file. If you find an unknown file extension on your computer, you could quickly run a Google search, view the results and then download a recommended application.
