When Google Browser Sync was made available, this was a genuinely innovative add-on for web browser. It enabled you to keep your bookmarks, between your Firefox-based browsers, up-to-date and synchronised across your various machines, irrespective of operating system. Add a bookmark on your work PC and the same bookmark would be made available on your Mac-based laptop, on the road. Unfortunately Google later cancelled this project, partly as Mozilla started on their own Weave bookmark-synchronising project.Latest stories from Business Software
