We're all guilty of the scenario where we decide that we're going to take up a new hobby or skill, such as learning a language or producing music on our computer, then go out and spend hundreds of pounds on the software, books and magazines we need to make this happen. It doesn't and we later realise that we spent far too much on the commercial software. Ironically, it's the steep learning curve presented by the software that stops us from going past first base.Latest stories from Business Software
