Artweaver, the natural painting utility for artists

There are a number of utilities available that you can use to paint and create original works with, from basic freeware tools to expensive, professional suites. Although these applications may enable you to paint to some degree, they tend to be geared toward image editing and manipulation rather than helping artists create original pieces. If you are a more creative artist you may find it difficult finding an application that suits a more expressive style, but there are applications worth investigating.  

Artweaver 1.14 is designed for users who prefer working with a mouse or directly on a tablet. The program offers a number of realistic tools such as pencils, charcoal, chalk and numerous other brush styles. You can import a range of image formats as well as use existing images and photos to create sketches from.
