totaluninstall-grab.gifWhen removing applications from your computer, the amount of installed software can be surprising. Sometimes though, installing software can be done without even realising. Media payers and plug-ins are easily downloaded and installed when listening to music or watching a video online, but they often remain on your system even when you've finished using them. And removing such applications with the standard Windows Add/Remove isn't always straightforward, often not completely removing files and folders associated with some applications.

enable users to remove all traces of an unwanted application. It monitors where associated files and folders of an application are placed during the installation process, so when it comes to removing them, it's far more thorough and effective than the standard Add/Remove utility.
