Apple's iPhone hit US stores on 29 June, and arrived in the UK on 9 November. As the frenzy among Apple enthusiasts peaks, vnunet.com reveals all the latest news, gossip and analysis.
Do you agree?
Who cares?
People already queueing for iPhones? Something that has a maximum of 8GB, is massively underpowered compared to genuine smartphones and costs $500? I guess if you throw enough hype behind something you can sell anything.

iPhone-ageddon
Apple must be pinching itself! Not only can it launch into a crowded MP3 market and take it by storm, but now its a major mobile phone manufacturer rubbing up against the big boys. What other company could manage that?

iPod versus iPhone?
I don't get it. I have an iPod. It holds 80GB of music and videos - mostly TV stuff I'm catching up on. Why would I want a cut-down phone version that can only hold 8GB max? Especially when I already have a smartphone for web browsing, etc.

Woohoo
Can't wait for the iPhone. Another instant classic from Apple and Steve Jobs. But when's it going to make the leap over the pond? And if they decide to use one operator like they have in the US with AT&T, then which one will it be on over here? Vodafone I hope so I don't have to switch...
