T-Mobile is reportedly readying a crop of new devices based on Google's Android operating system.
A report in The New York Times citing "confidential documents", suggests that the company is planning a home telephone device and tablet PC which will use versions of Android.
T-Mobile was the first carrier to support an Android handset when it began offering the G1 handset last November.
The company has also been making inroads into the home electronics market with services such as HotSpot at Home, which allows for mobile calls over home Wi-Fi connections.
Android is currently limited to mobile phone deployments, but PC vendors such as HP are considering versions of the open source operating system for use in netbook and handset systems.
Do you agree?
"Open" your eyes!
Android did not choose T-Mobile! Android is Open Source, created by the Open Handset Alliance. Anyone can use it and create hardware for it. You can even install it on your computer. If you don't like T-Mobile it's just a matter of time before others catch on.

T-Mobile is a poor choice
T-Mobile being chosen for the Android System is a poor choice. This is a Company who advertise rebates on their phones & never pay them. This new system should be given to a more honest company.
