Microsoft touts fixed-price Premier Ultimate support

Microsoft's Premier Ultimate will offer unlimited support for a fixed price

Microsoft has announced an extended version of its premier support package for enterprise customers.

Premier Ultimate will offer unlimited support for a fixed price, rather than the premier support package which is provided on a per-incident or per-hour basis.

Microsoft will also provide a roadmap for customers to help them gain the " ideal IT environment".

"Microsoft will take a direct stake in customers' IT health and deliver unlimited problem resolution services for a fixed price, providing clarity, predictability and simplicity while helping to improve IT quality and reliability," said a Microsoft spokesperson.

Premier Ultimate is now available to all customers worldwide.
