IT infrastructure provider Fujitsu Siemens has launched a new range of mobile workstations designed to provide superior graphics capabilities and performance.
The Celsius H series computers feature Intel Centrino core 2 dual processors, weigh just 3kg and could particularly appeal to users in the graphic design, construction, engineering or web design industries, according to the vendor.
The Celsius H270 is a 15in workstation, which also has the option of featuring Intel Mobile quad-core processors for improved performance.
An Nvidia Quadro FX 770M with 32 Cuda parallel computing processor cores produces high-end graphics and resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels (WSXGA+) or 1920 x 1200 pixels (WUXGA).
"We are convinced that the combination of top-quality graphics and processor performance, plus Fujitsu Siemens' innovative notebook development, gives the market a new impulse," said Wilhelm Geyer, director of workstations at Fujitsu.
The Celsius H series is also compatible with the business notebooks in the Esprimo mobile family from Fujitsu Siemens Computers, said the firm.
Celsius H265 and Celsius H270 are available as of mid-August priced from £1,140 ex VAT.
