Five Microsoft interns have said goodbye to their employer in song.
Bill, Bo, Clare, John and Rehit, interns hired for the summer, have produced a video explaining why they are leaving the company that was performed at various locations on the Redmond campus, including the roof and server room.
So far nearly 20,000 people have watched the video, which is a pastiche of an N'Sync track with specially adapted lyrics, including:
"I don't want to write your spec,
'cause it would be a wreck,
So I'm leaving you"
"We like to think that a big part of working at Microsoft is having fun, and these interns had enough of a good time to be inspired to make this video, which they shared with us too," said a Microsoft representative.
"We're glad they enjoyed their time with the company."
Microsoft's intern program is recognised as one of the hardest to get into in the industry. Interns spend a minimum of 12 weeks working on commercial projects as part of the regular team.
