An Australian stock market website whose real-time newsreaders deliver the news in the nude, has been swamped by would-be customers and forced to restrict access.
The site, marketwrap unwrapped www.marketwrapunwrapped.com comes on the back of an earlier attempt on the failed Live TV, which had a newsreader, Melanie, who stripped off while delivering her big City tips.
However, the Australian version has its newsreaders in the altogether all the time. Since the site launched last week it has been overcome by the number of stockmarket executives who wanted to keep abreast of their stock news, mergers and takeovers delivered by naked women.
"We have been deluged by people wanting to sign up to our news service, and had to cut off applications for a while," a clothed company spokesman said.
